1. Analysis -- what specifically does the person do well in analyzing?
She does a good job in providing sufficient examples of the poetic elements the author uses.
2. Analysis -- if the person had to do this again, what would you recommend in analysis?
The analysis part was very informative on the poetic elements and structure. Maybe it would be even more stronger if the analysis contained more about the actual content, the meaning and theme of the poem.
3. What is something you found surprising? or amusing?
The filmed scenes that were shown during the reading portion was really amusing yet relevant to the poem.
5. Comment on the visual portion of this video.
The use of pictures and filmed videos make it amusing. The highlighting of words used in the analysis is very informative and effective.

1. Analysis -- what specifically does the person do well in analyzing?
Your analysis on sound was great. It directly showed how it connects to the overall theme. It was clear for me to see how the poet used those devices to show a bigger picture.
2. Analysis -- if the person had to do this again, what would you recommend in analysis?
I think you could have put titles on each section of your analysis. I think you were really organized in your writing but for listeners, it's even more effective when the video has visuals.
3. What is something you found surprising? or amusing?
It was amusing how the theme connected to nature. Your specific analysis of each word convinced the listeners to agree and understand your poem effectively.
4. What is something you don't understand or find confusing?
I think it could have been better if you mentioned the definitions of each poem devices. It was confusing to follow in some parts.
5. Comment on the visual portion of this video.
It was clear for the readers what you were talking about. You put subtitles(?) which was easy to follow.
6. Other?
I really loved the part where you re-read the poem against. The movie clip was really effective.

1. Analysis -- what specifically does the person do well in analyzing?
She analyzes in great detail. She pointed out every simile, repetition, and other important poetic devices and explained them well.
2. Analysis -- if the person had to do this again, what would you recommend in analysis?
The only thing I would suggest is to incorporate some pictures into the analysis to make it more creative and not lose the audience's attention.
5. Comment on the visual portion of this video.
The last part of the video, (where she reads the poem), was memorable. She didn't use any pictures or outside sources, but she put herself in the video. When she reads "I'll rise" she uses the same clip of her jumping high in the air over and over again, which I think was effective because it stressed the whole theme of the poem.
However, half of her video was analysis, and she used the same format for that whole portion of the poem which I think could lose some of the audience's attention. But otherwise, it was well done.
6. Other?
Although your analysis was good, I think you should have organized it a little better. For example, when you're talking about the similes used in the poem, state clearly that you'll be going over the similes. When you're about to talk about repetition, state clearly that you'll be doing so... It's just a suggestion to make your already good video extra good :D

1. Analysis -- what specifically does the person do well in analyzing?
Chaeri analyzed each stanza and gave each stanza and alloted a good amount of time discussing and observing it. It helped that she summarized the significance of the poem in the beginning of the poem; the viewer knows what to expect and the video is highly organized. In the video, the meaning, significance, and poetic elements of the poem are all discussed.
2. Analysis -- if the person had to do this again, what would you recommend in analysis?
Maybe she could explain the significance of rhetorical questions in the poem. The fact that the author asks the questions, not answer it, shows her image as a strong woman.
3. What is something you found surprising? or amusing?
4. What is something you don't understand or find confusing?
I wish that the video discussed a bit more about how natural comes into play in the poem, but the general idea was presented in a manner easy to understand.
5. Comment on the visual portion of this video.
The introduction was very smooth, but the reading of the poem at the end of the video stood out as the best visual portion of the video. The pictures all fit the descriptions well, and there is soft music throughout the video that enhances the reading and discussion of the poem. The reading of the poem is creative, using self-captured videos instead of pictures or other videos.
6. Other?
The sound quality was good, and it was easy to see and read the poem as well as follow the ideas being presented.
