Write a short 4-5 sentence paragraph concerning your reading about Frankenstein. Include a colon.
Frankenstein started off in a way that I had not imagined: a letter. While I had always thought that Frankenstein was simply a story about the creation of a monster, I didn't expect the story to begin this informally. The language used was nowhere near serious. Also, in the letters Robert Walton wrote to his sister, there was a great similarity with the poem we recently read: The Rime of the Ancient Mariner. With the appearance of an albatross and the ice all around the ship, the descriptions resembled greatly with Coleridge's poem.
