Find one blog that is a “regular” person’s post, but you feel could serve as a college essay. Link to it on your page the wiki and explain why (briefly). http://www.blogcatalog.com/blog/jeffreymdcom
This blog belongs to a college student who writes about his experience as a student and person throughout his high school and college life. A college essay usually is written to express that person's character and mind more thoroughly. In his blog introduction, he writes that he hadn't planned to major in a medical subject until he got into college. When I read his writing about realizing that what you plan in high school doesn't always stick, and there are a lot more opportunities outside of the walls of high school, I felt like it was a good resource to look back to and use that lesson as a lesson for my own too.
Find a blog that discusses a topic in-depth in some way that you are interested in. Either comment on their blog, quote them on your blog and link to their blog with a message on theirs that you did so, or some other way of connecting you have. Regardless, link these to your page on the wiki http://buycamera-s.com/
As I joined the Photography Team in the Yearbook Committee, bought a new digital SLR camera, and signed up for the Digital Photography class, my interest in photography as a whole increased immensely. Obviously, from the website address, this blog is about cameras. Yes, all about digital cameras that are out there. The author of this blog not only gives detailed information about the newest devices, but also gives comparisons with other models--which is quite crucial for a person looking for the right camera for himself/herself. I wrote a blog post about this blog.
Find one more blog post of note, link to it on ning, and briefly explain what makes it “good”.http://www2.med.umich.edu/medschool/reality/
This blog is a combination of many different blogs written by several med students currently in the University of Michigan. This is a blog that reveals a "Dose of Reality" for those people who wonder what life really is for a med-student. I believe that this is a "good" blog not because of its significantly good writing, but more of its content. It's a good resource for students like me who have questions about college life.
